Rainwater Harvesting in an Agricultural Application

Whalen Bishop and David Pfortmueller of University Sprinklers were honoured to present at the Pacific Agriculture Show in Abbotsford this past January. The Pacific Agriculture Show showcases the latest and most innovative equipment and technology for the agriculture industry.

Stephanie Tam, Water Management Engineer with the BC Ministry of Agriculture invited us to present an innovative project we recently completed that featured a Rainwater Harvesting System servicing a research broiler poultry farm in the Fraser Valley, the S J Ritchie Research Farm.

We were delighted to show examples of agricultural rainwater harvesting applications and to showcase real-world opportunities for this green technology.
