When can you use your automatic sprinkler system?
Metro Vancouver Watering Restrictions
(In effect June 8 2026) In Metro Vancouver, the following restrictions are in effect June 8 through October 15 unless otherwise stated. See below for links to watering restrictions in other University Sprinklers service areas.
Residential addresses:
STAGE 3 LAWN WATERING DISALLOWED

Trees, shrubs, and flowers can be watered at any time using a water container, drip irrigation, or a hose with spring-loaded nozzle. Sprinklers and soaker hoses are prohibited.

Vegetable gardens can be watered any time.
Non-residential addresses:
STAGE 3 LAWN WATERING DISALLOWED

Special permits are not available for watering of newly planted lawns. Contact your local municipality for more information.
