Water Restrictions – How University Sprinklers Advocates For Our Clients
As many of us know, the several cities in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley implemented Stage 2 water restrictions last summer. Stage 2 bans all watering of lawns. In 2024 we have yet to see restrictions go to stage 2.
As a member of the British Columbia Landscape Nursery Association (BCLNA), University Sprinklers advocates for transparency of water reserve levels to help ensure water restrictions match reserve levels to allow our Residential and Commercial clients continued watering of their grass as much as possible when sufficient water is available!
Water Restrictions play a large role in why University Sprinklers designs our Irrigation Systems with Gardens and Grass separated zones – to allow for watering of gardens, even when grass is restricted or banned! We can even install Rainwater Collection Tanks to mitigate low water reserves.
If you want to learn more about separating your Garden and Grass zones, or installing a new system give us a call.
