Who would I report to in the office?
You would work closely with and report to your Scheduler – this person creates your schedule, and communicates directly with clients.  You would report indirectly to the HR / Training Manager, and to the Service Manager.
Does the position require travel outside the local area?
No. However, a few caveats apply. During the training process, you may be required to work with a Service Tech in an area requiring a significant commute (but still within the Lower Mainland). Once you have completed your training and are operating as a full Service Tech, we make every effort to assign your service area close to your home, to minimize your travel time and maximize vehicle efficiency.

Yes, you can. There are some limitations, but we would make every effort to adjust and minimize your commute.
Will I be driving a company vehicle?

The scheduling of its maintenance is your responsibility (although we pay for its maintenance). Vehicles are parked at your home / in your neighbourhood. Time is booked by your scheduler on a weekly basis to visit whatever supplier is closest to your travels to replenish your stock. Vehicles are expected to be used for company purposes only.
Is travel time paid for?
Travel time from your home to the first site is not paid for. Travel time from your last site to your home is not paid for. Travel time between sites during the day is not paid for. However, there are accommodations made within your scheduling and compensation to accommodate your travel time, in effect paying your time from the moment you reach your first site, to the moment you leave your last site. You are compensated in a fashion that is very closely tied with a piecework model.
What do I need to supply?
University Sprinkler Systems Irrigation System InstallationBring common sense, a good attitude, and a desire to learn. You must be able to pick up new skills quickly and efficiently. You must have a desire to do things properly. You must be able to work hard. It is common for Service Techs working at the correct pace to sweat during the day, and be dirty by the end of the day. You must be punctual.
